Channelling that biblical bit of outerwear worn by LG for Live ’25, Ten C bring back their Skye Ten Anorak with new camo prints & colourways.
If you were bang into your gear back in the 2010’s then you’ll remember “those in the know” talking about new brands on the scene such as Ten C, 12th Man & MA.STRUM. Each brand had its own affiliation, whether it was the Massimo Osti archive or an ex-designer of Stone Island, the era marked a seismic shift in casual sportswear with off-shoot labels & new fabric innovation. For the fans of brands like Stone Island & C.P. Company, the names Paul Harvey & Alessandro Pungetti are something like the equivalent of Andrea Pirlo or Roberto Baggio to the Italian national football team. Having these two stalwarts start their own brand, Ten C, was big news. Coming from a golden era of “casual designer gear” of the mid-90s to the mid-noughties, a timeframe we’ll probably still be talking about in 20 years, Pungetti & Harvey put their expertise of crafting the finest outerwear & fabrics into Ten C, a shortened version of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale, The Emperor’s New Clothes. A relatively under-the-radar brand, it was the Live’25 tour which saw Liam Gallagher wear the Ten C Skye Ten jacket in collaboration with Awake New York bringing the technical outerwear label under the global spotlight.
With a core belief that garments should be focused on the quality & fabrics as oppose to loud branding & fads, Ten C pioneered a unique Japanese fabric called OJJ (Original Japanese Jersey), a high-density polyester-nylon microfiber, which remains a key part of their collections today. Featuring the brand’s homegrown garment-dyed OJJ fabric, the Skye Ten anorak is probably just about as good as it gets when it comes to technical outerwear.
Dropping in an updated camouflage print, the military inspired piece features a nylon crinkle ripstop fabric which is robust, lightweight & water resistant. Other highlights include an adjustable peaked hood & a full frontal zip with a snap button placket. As with all Ten C garments, the branding is extra subtle with a black Ten C patch to the rear. The garment also comes with its very own suit bag, for extra protection next to your other 50 plus jackets.
