Introducing the Stone Island Warp Rib Nylon-TC jacket which features PrimaLoft® insulated technology, anti-drop treatment and that classic Stoney outerwear style.
Nothing quite re-ignites the original Osti passion like watching the latest Paul Heaton documentary on the BBC. I mean at one point it seemed like the whole of the Beautiful South were wearing Stone Island in live performances, “casually” clad in the compass logo with Raso Gomatto fabrics & late 80s boxy fits you can now probably only find in someones own personal archive somewhere. This latest Stone Island Warp Rib Nylon-TC Jacket is not only a “perfect 10” but it also features PrimaLoft® insulated technology for when the heat wave finally does one and we’re back to the daily rain and Slavic scale cold. If there’s one stand out piece of the season for Stoney, this little “anti-drop” beauty has got to be one of them. Paul Heaton if you’re reading this, you’d deffo bang this one out back in the day to a bit of ‘Don’t Marry Her’.

Sticking true to their concept of garment innovation & fabric research, Stone Island have introduced one of their latest fabrics in the form of Warp Rib Nylon-TC which features a woven nylon material with a specially crafted warp rib weave. During the garment dyeing process the fabric transforms to a satin like appearance for a unique shiny & textured finish. An added anti-drop agent adds an effective barrier for rain & showers allowing water drops to roll off off the garment as oppose to soaking into the fibers. PrimaLoft® insulation technology, which was originally developed for the US military back in the 1980s as an alternative goose down insulation is discretely packed into the garment with no added “bulk”.

Other highlights include that iconic mariner style peaked hood, synonymous to the whole Stoney style alongside an embroidered ventilation collar with a snap button closure. The detailing doesn’t stop there, there’s also two reinforced snap button chest pockets with the reinforced fabric highlighting the garment dyeing process on the fabric. Completed with the classic compass logo to the left sleeve which is also removable if you like to keep things a bit more discreet with its own internal badge holder.
