If you’re bang into Barbour, and all the heritage that comes with the British born brand, then the Barbour Heritage+ line will be right up your street.
You just can’t really beat a good sub-label can you? Whether it’s Marina, Metropolis, Shadow Project or Linea Rossa, these sub-labels have become the talk of die hard menswear forums & “geared” up gear talk on matchday over the last 20 plus years. When all the DNA of a brand like Barbour, in this case, is combined together for a sub-label infused with British workwear, military apparel & no-fuss weather-ready outerwear, it’s never going to be a bad thing. Diving head first into Barbour’s illustrious archive, the Heritage+ line has everything from maritime influences worn by the British Navy to durable outerwear donned by the hardy fisherman & shipbuilders of the North East. With a heavy focus on fabrics & archival silhouettes, the Barbour Heritage+ line returns for the latest season with a collection of cropped waxed jackets, graphic tees & canvas overshirts.

Stand out pieces of the latest collection includes the Ursula Wadding Waterproof Jacket, which was first introduced in 1939 for the Royal Navy Submarine Service. Commissioned by Captain George Philips, the Ursula featured Barbour’s signature wax-cotton fabric with a buckled throat strap. Updated for the modern day wearer, the Ursula now returns with an updated fully lined matte cotton outer with a Polyurethane membrane for waterproof performance. The adjustable funnel collar remains true to the archive design alongside a structured front and back yoke with a ventilating storm flap for added breathability.

Also included in the latest drop is the Crop Spey Wax Jacket, another archival silhouette, which features a cropped length & a 6oz waxed cotton fabric. The Westfort Casual Jacket arrives in an updated breen (brown) colourway and draws inspiration from vintage chore jackets & military parkas. Barbour have also re-imagined the Ursula jacket with the introduction of the Relaxed Fit Ursula Canvas Overshirt which features a robust cotton canvas fabric with a dense weave to maintain its shape. Finally there’s also a collection of ‘Barbour Man’ graphic tees which are crafted from a heavyweight 220gsm cotton jersey. The Barbour Heritage+ collection is now available from MYRAIL.
