It’s pretty mad when you think about it how a certain colour, or hue if that’s your thing, can determine a brand’s own unique identity. Fully fledged outdoors performance brands such as Nike’s All Conditions Gear line, has been knocking out vibrant as hell colourways since it first came on the technical outdoors apparel circuit back in the late 1980s. With the whole head-to-toe “all black” thing we’ve had here in the UK for what seems like an eternity now, ACG stuck their middle fingers up to monochrome with some of the brightest outdoors styles we’ve probably ever seen. For 2026, the beloved safety orange colourway is back with a bang with the launch of the Nike ACG Laval Loft Therma-FIT jacket which now arrives at MYRAIL.
Weighing it a lightweight 10 ounces, the Lava Loft down jacket also features a lofty 700-fill layer which has been speciality engineered for the trails. Lab researched by Nike’s top R&R (research & development) team, the vibrant ‘safety orange’ jacket uses the very latest AeroLoft technology with detailed body mapping & strategically placed perforations to provide superior warmth, as well as breathability. The outershell boasts Nike’s very own Dri-FIT technology with added stretch panelling for an optimal “performance” fit. Also featuring a packable function, the Lava Loft can be stowed away in its own pocket with the words “Pack it in. Pack it out”, a play on House of Pain’s legendary tune from the early 90s. Other highlights include reflective ACG branding & a swoosh to the rear.
